There's something about pink.

I'm really not a big fan of perfumes. But since my boyfriend is very fond of it, I became interested in a way. So whenever I go home, my boyfriend buys me perfume. That gives me three perfumes at the moment.

The first one he gave me was Davidoff Echo.

This perfume is like an everyday kind of scent. Nothing really special about it. It's fresh and floral. It specifically has floral notes of grape seed, rose and transparent white musk. Other floral scents included are peony and carnation and just a hint of orchid and violet. It's fresh scent comes from strawberry and raspberry. I can say that this perfume is an "okay" perfume. It costs about AUD 50 but my boyfriend got it for Php 1200. The only thing I don't like about it is that even if it is an eu de parfum, it doesn't stay on for the whole day. And another thing is that the bottle is too bulky for me. But then again, this is not bad for my first perfume.

The second perfume that I got is a Guess perfume. I've wanted this perfume ever since I started working in Priceline but I dare not buy because it costs around AUD69!!!Well, it goes down to AUD 29 but still!!!!My boyfriend bought this for Php 1200 too just like Davidoff Echo. Anyway, the light, sweet scent of Guess made me fall in love with it!It has fruity scents of tangerine, green apple, peach, and red fruit. It also has scents of cedarwood and amber. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this perfume. It also lasts sooo long! The scent doesn't fade at all. The only thing I hate about this perfume is that I know a lot of girls here in Canberra who love this scent. I just don't want to smell like everyone else here. And mind you, Canberra's really small! :))

Lastly, I have Issey Miyake Florale. I actually just bought this perfume just to pair up with my boyfriend's perfume which is Issey Miyake Intense. But still, I honestly like this very floral scent. I just have to quote this excellent description of this perfume from sephora.com,

"L'Eau d'Issey Florale is the pure expression of a flower. Its top notes smell of the breath of a barely opened rose. This flower's true nature, its dewy softness, is set against the sparkling and crystalline notes of mandarin. In the heart notes, the floral purity of lily, with accents of orange flowers, is soft like a caress. The deep scent of white wood travels along a trail of musk, giving its base the weight of a fragrance from the past. "

How exact is that description? Haha. I like this scent because it just oozes femininity. I didn't mind paying over a hundred USD. The down part of this perfume is that it doesn't last very long and it is quite faint.

Now, I'm wondering what my scent scent will be? I'm thinking of another pink perfume which is Dolce and Gabanna Rose The One.
It has notes of black currant, pink grapefruit, mandarin, lily of the valley, rose, litchi, peony, Madonna lily, along with ambrette seed, sandalwood, musk and vanilla. But I'm still in the search for my next (pink) perfume!

Tip from Tippy:
In choosing a perfume, you should try spraying some on your skin. Each and every person has a different skin acidity making a perfume react differently and distinctively on every individual. A perfume may smell wonderful on your skin but horrible on mine. And if you're spraying some on your wrist, don't rub it. Just let it dry because friction will mess up the scent too.
