Kiss me.

Say hello to my humble lippy collection!
I've honestly never been confident enough to wear lipsticks because I have dry and chappy lips. Thus, resulting to being clueless with lipsticks.  But I guess it's already time to amp up my make-up skills. And sadly, it became an obsession which I controlled right away because I'd end up with an empty bank account---I just made sure I had all the shades I wanted. HAHA.

First off is my lip care team!

Lucas' Papaw Ointment
Around AUD 6
This is made from Carica Papaw (fresh fermented fruit) 39mg/g and Potassium Sorbate as a preservative. Carica Papaw is commonly known as papaya. So this yummy fruit when fermented can be used for boils, burns, chafing, cuts, cracked skin, gravel rash, splinters, open wounds, insect bites and nappy rash. But for me and a whole lot of people I've met in store use this as a lip balm. Works perfectly for me, especially during winter. It keeps my lips hydrated for hours.
See how thick it is. :) This is definitely a must have for everyone!

Ego's Sun Sense Lip Balm SPF 30 +
Around AUD 5
When I realized that we had this product in Priceline, I just had to own this. I have this obssession with sunscreen since the sun down under is extreme! It was just completely logical for me to protect my lips too. ;)

It's white and thick, so you just need to put a bit of it and make sure you spread it perfectly. You don't want to be walking around with white lips. ;)

Natio's Lip Smooting Treatment.
This is actually part of Natio's Ageless range. Yes, Ageless meaning for more mature women. But i don't really mind using it. This product was made for me and my chappy lips. It has sugar beads to help exfoliate and smooth the appearance of fine lines. It also has organic rosehip and green tea for softening and protecting.
Around AUD 17
I don't know if you can see the sugar beads but maybe this picture might help. I think I have a sugar bead on my lower lip.
I love this product but I don't know if too much exfoliation is good for your lips.
Burt's Bees replenishing lip balm and lip shimmer
Lip balm- Around AUD 6
Lip shimmer- Around AUD 13

The best thing about Burt's Bees is that it's 100% natural and it has this minty feeling after you apply it. I just usually use the lip balm but shifted to lip shimmer since it gives you a bit of lip color without being too drastic. My current shade, which is Fig, was just a lucky pick! I didn't really know it would turn out amazing on me.

It's just like a gloss that nourishes your lips.

Tips by Tippy:
Always moisturize your lips to avoid having cracked lips. It's also good to exfoliate your lips with your toothbrush in a a gentle circular manner. You can do it twice to thrice a week. As much as possible, use lip balm with natural ingredients just for the fact that it's on your lips and you can't avoid eating it.
